Placing parents are allowed to sign adoption consents no sooner than 48 hours after the birth of the child.
Can placing parents who have consented to an adoption change their mind and revoke their consent?
Relinquishment of a child may be effectively revoked within a reasonable time after its execution before the child placement agency has, in writing, accepted full responsibility for the child.
